Don't leave me home alone....


Evidently, I am dangerous when left unattended by another adult. Never has an episode left me more rattled about my lack of independance. Outuba and I generally always leave the house together, when he visits his family, I visit my family.

Although today, he went to see his g-pa and I stayed home. I can't explain that to you how pleased I was to have the house to myself. A little bit of alone time is always a treat.

I decided that I would cook me something to eat. I needed a lid and instead of using an actual lid,I threw on a plastic cutting board. A few minutes later, I notice that its getting dark, I look to my left and there is a huge cloud of big, thick black smoke. I run into the kitchen and flames are higher than my head. I didn't know how to put out the fire .... so I threw a whole bunch of water on it. It went out. I could barely breathe due to all the smoke. I open the back door, windows, and put fans to blow the smoke out. Then the smoke alarm (in the opposite side of the house) starts to go off. I'm thankful to that genuis that decided that the smoke alarm belongs in the bedroom versus the kitchen.

Anyway, nothing is really damaged, except for the pan and the burner on the stove. But it took over 4.5 hours to clean the soot from everything. It sucks!
